Campus Dining Salad Bar- Part Time Description Eastern Oklahoma State College is a comprehensive community college providing instruction in a wide range of curricula.

Qualifications:

Self-motivated, high energy, team-oriented individual Excellent communication and customer service skills; Must relate positively with students, parents, the public and other College personnel; Must be self-motivated and able to handle several tasks at the same time; Ability to work mornings and weekends

Responsibilities:

Prepare and stock the salad bar according to the daily menu and production schedule, ensuring all required items are available for meal service. Wash, cut, and prepare fresh vegetables, fruits, and other ingredients for the Cyber Café, sandwich bar, yogurt bar, and salad bar. Receive and properly store produce deliveries, rotating inventory using the First In, First Out (FIFO) method to maintain product quality and food safety. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary walk-in cooler, including cleaning and mopping cooler floors and keeping preparation areas free of debris. Prepare salads, fruit trays, and other fresh produce items for campus catering events and special functions as needed. Monitor the quality and freshness of produce, removing and properly disposing of items that do not meet quality standards. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety regulations.
