We're a well-established bakery and café in Eugene seeking a dedicated baker to join our team. We specialize in small-batch, high-quality baked goods—including croissants, muffins, scones, cookies, sweet breads, cakes, English muffins, and biscuits—crafted daily using the finest local and organic ingredients whenever possible.
What We're Looking For:
Experience:
Minimum 2 years in a professional kitchen with strong references
Skills:
Ability to work independently, manage time well, and maintain a high standard of quality
Availability:
3 days/week, 5:00 AM - 12:00
PM Key Responsibilities:
Ensure consistent quality and presentation of all baked goods Follow established portion sizes, recipes, and kitchen procedures Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation Communicate clearly with team members and kitchen staff Handle, store, and rotate ingredients properly Comply with Oregon Department of Health (ODH) food safety standards Clean and sanitize baking area and equipment at the end of each shift
Qualifications:
Valid Oregon Food Handler's permit At least 2 years of professional baking experience Familiarity with standard kitchen equipment and techniques
Compensation:
