Description Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort & Spa is seeking a talented Intermediate Line
  • Pastry Cook 2 to bring their culinary creativity to our kitchen!
If you're ready to take your pastry skills to the next level and be part of a vibrant culinary team, we want to hear from you! In this role, you'll have the opportunity to craft delightful pastries that will leave our guests craving more. You'll work closely with our experienced chefs, honing your skills while preparing a variety of pastry products in line with our high standards. Your strong communication and culinary skills will shine as you collaborate with the team to deliver exceptional dining experiences. Shifts may start as early as 4:00am. Early mornings, weekend and holiday availability is required for this role.
What You'll Do:
Prepare and present a range of delicious pastries and desserts. Assist senior cooks and contribute to a dynamic kitchen environment. Follow pastry culinary standards and recipes with precision. Embrace learning opportunities and grow your culinary expertise.
What We're Looking For:
Previous pastry experience and/or a culinary degree. A solid understanding of cooking ingredients and techniques. Requirements Previous cooking/baking experience is preferred Requires basic English and good communication skills. A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment. Ability to stand for long periods of time. Capable of performing repetitious duties. An open and flexible schedule that includes early mornings with a 4:00am start , weekend and holiday shifts. Must exhibit a positive attitude and have a passion for teamwork.
