Baker Job Summary We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Bakery Assistant to join our team! In this role, you will get a firsthand look at the magic behind our baked goods by assisting with daily baking and essential prep work. You will also be the guardian of our front-of-house, ensuring our retail shelves and display cases are beautifully stocked with delicious treats. No experience is necessary! While a background in food service or retail is a nice bonus, we are fully committed to training the right person. If you have a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and don't mind an early alarm clock, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities Bakery & Prep Assistance:

Support the baking team Handle baking solo 2 days a week while other baker is off Handle basic prep work Maintain strict cleanliness and food safety standards in all kitchen areas.

Retail & Merchandising:

Keep retail shelves, display cases, and goodies fully stocked and looking irresistible throughout the shift. Monitor inventory levels of retail items and communicate what needs restocking to the baking team.

Shift & Schedule Early Morning Hours:

This position requires early morning shifts (e.g., starting at 4:00 AM / 7:00 AM] ). Perfect for early birds who love having their afternoons free!

Qualifications & Skills Experience:

None required! Everything will be trained. (Previous bakery, kitchen, or retail experience is a plus).

Traits:

Dependable, punctual, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Demands:

Ability to stand for long periods, move quickly, and lift up to [50 lbs] (like bags of flour or sugar).

Availability:

Must be able to consistently work early morning hours, including Sundays. What We Offer Comprehensive on-the-job training covering baking techniques, food safety, and retail merchandising. Pay:

From $12.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 - 35.0 per week
