The ideal candidate has a passion for pastry and culinary arts, excellent customer service skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced bakery environment. This is a hands-on, cross-functional position. In addition to making early-morning pastry deliveries, you will support weekly production, baking, kitchen operations, and retail storefront activities. Flexibility, punctuality, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn are essential. The primary work location will be Ollio - The Colony , with occasional shifts at our Ollio - Frisco location based on business needs. Key Responsibilities Delivery & Customer Service Safely and efficiently deliver pastries and baked goods to customers and other designated locations as needed. Maintain a clean driving record and operate company vehicles responsibly. Provide friendly, professional customer service during deliveries and in-store interactions. Ensure orders are accurate, properly handled, and delivered on time. Bakery Production & Baking Assist with daily and weekly production schedules. Complete mise en place and prepare ingredients according to recipes and production plans. Prepare and bake menu items consistently according to established recipes and quality standards. Maintain an organized, efficient, and clean commercial kitchen environment. Learn and perform new bakery and culinary techniques as needed. Food Safety & Sanitation Follow all food safety, sanitation, and company operating procedures. Properly clean and sanitize food-contact surfaces, equipment, workstations, and other areas throughout the shift. Maintain appropriate food handling practices at all times. Complete general kitchen cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing. Retail Store Operations Assist with opening and closing procedures as needed. Set up and display pastries, baked goods, and other retail products. Greet customers warmly and assist with orders and product questions. Operate the cash register and process payments accurately. Handle cash responsibly and maintain proper accountability. Inventory & Team Support Assist with inventory counts and audits. Identify ingredient and supply needs and communicate purchasing requirements to management. Work closely with bakery and retail team members to maintain smooth daily operations. Support other bakery, delivery, and storefront duties as business needs change. Qualifications & Skills 1+ year of bakery industry experience preferred. Previous delivery-driving experience preferred. Genuine passion for pastries, baking, and the culinary arts. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record . Valid Texas Food Handler's License, or willingness to obtain one upon hiring. Valid authorization to work in the United States. Reliable transportation for commuting to work and traveling between the The Colony and Frisco locations when needed. Excellent attendance, punctuality, and reliability. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions. Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing business needs. Strong teamwork and relationship-building skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and attention to detail. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks in a commercial kitchen and retail environment.
