Job Description

Job Summary:

At La Panciata Bakery, Bakery Staff members play a key role in the daily production of our breads and baked goods. This full-time, hourly non-exempt position supports the baking team by shaping, panning, organizing, and preparing breads throughout the production process. Bakery Staff help maintain the quality, consistency, and efficiency that La Panciata Bakery is known for. Team members are expected to contribute to a positive work environment, follow food safety standards, and support overall bakery operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational & Production Dutie s Shape, handle, pan, cover, and un-pan breads during daily production. Assist with preparation and organization of dough and baked goods throughout the production process. Ensure products meet La Panciata Bakery quality standards for appearance and consistency. Monitor bread during various stages of production and assist with preparation for baking or cooling. Grease dividers and prepare baking equipment as needed for production. Maintain an organized work area and follow bakery sanitation standards. Clean production equipment and assist with general bakery cleaning tasks. Communication & Collaboration Work closely with the Baking Floor Supervisor and other team members to maintain efficient workflow. Communicate any production concerns, quality issues, or equipment needs to supervisors. Support team members during busy production periods to help maintain productivity and product quality. Contribute to a positive and cooperative team environment.

Work Hours:
Monday:

8:00 AM

•Completion (approximately 7:00-8:00 PM)

Wednesday:

8:00 AM

•Completion (approximately 2:00 PM)

Thursday:

8:00 AM

•Completion (approximately 6:00-7:00 PM)

Friday:

8:00 AM

•Completion (approximately 5:00-6:00 PM)

Note:

Work hours may vary depending on production completion and holidays. Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent required Previous food production or bakery experience preferred but not required

Physical Requirements:

Lift 50 lbs occasionally Lift 20-35 lbs regularly Frequent standing for extended periods Ability to work in hot and humid conditions Repetitive use of hands and arms for shaping and handling bakery products

Pay:

From $14.50 per hour Expected hours: 30.0
