Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Night Baker to join our dynamic culinary team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for preparing, baking, and finishing a variety of baked goods during overnight hours to ensure fresh, high-quality products are ready for the next day's service. Your expertise in food production, pastry preparation, and cake decorating will help deliver exceptional baked items that delight our customers. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary skills in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a clean and safe workspace. Duties Prepare and bake a wide range of baked goods, including bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies, adhering strictly to recipes and quality standards Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, dough sheeters, and pastry tools efficiently and safely Decorate cakes and pastries with precision, ensuring attractive presentation that meets customer expectations Package baked goods carefully for storage or delivery while maintaining food safety standards Maintain a clean and organized workspace by following sanitation protocols and food safety regulations Assist in food preparation tasks including measuring ingredients, mixing doughs, and assembling products for baking Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies; notify management when restocking is needed Qualifications Proven experience in food production, baking, or pastry preparation within a high-volume environment or food industry setting Strong knife skills and proficiency in cake decorating techniques Knowledge of food safety management practices and adherence to hygiene standards Ability to operate commercial kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Excellent attention to detail in recipe adherence and product presentation Basic math skills for measuring ingredients accurately and managing inventory Previous experience in catering or restaurant environments is preferred but not required Demonstrated ability to work independently during overnight shifts while maintaining productivity and quality standards Join our team as a Night Baker if you're passionate about creating delicious baked goods with precision and flair!
