Job Description

Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Bakery Assistant to join our team. As a Bakery Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting with the production of baked goods and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Duties:
  • Assist with the preparation and production of baked goods, including measuring ingredients, mixing dough, and operating baking equipment
  • Assist in bread and pastry production
  • Follow recipes and instructions to ensure consistent quality and taste of products
  • Monitor baking process to ensure goods are baked to perfection
  • Decorate and package finished products for display or sale
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery area, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and restocking supplies
  • Some heavy lifting at times!
  • Ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of orders
  • Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe working environment
Preferred Skills:
  • Previous experience in food production/commercial kitchen is required
  • Knowledge of baking techniques
  • Ability to follow recipes accurately and consistently
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure precise measurements and timing
  • Being professional with coworkers and customers
  • Familiarity with kitchen equipment, including ovens, mixers, and knives
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
  • Flexibility to work early mornings/days, weekends, or holidays as required We are looking for someone who's ready to jump in and grow with us.
Annual raises & sick time. Employee discount on products. Starting pay is based on experience.
