We are looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented Production Artisan to join our team in Bellingham. this is an artistic role which involves involves color, texture, consistency, and judgment. You'll work with large mixing drums, combining sugars and other ingredients with coloring and flavoring agents to create finished products that consistently match our standards. Some colors and products require adjustment by eye, so we're looking for someone who enjoys hands-on work and has a good sense of color and attention to detail. If you like cooking, baking, art, ceramics, paint mixing, or other work where small adjustments make a difference, you may be especially good at this role. What You'll Do Produce colored and flavored sugars, salts, sprinkles, and baking decorations Measure and mix coloring, flavoring, and other ingredients according to formulas Operate large mixing drums and other production equipment Evaluate color, texture, and consistency during production Make small adjustments to achieve the correct finished product Follow recipes, batch sheets, and production procedures accurately Keep your production area and equipment clean and organized Follow food-safety and sanitation procedures Lift and move bags and containers weighing up to 25 lbs Work with the rest of the production team to keep orders moving on schedule and hit daily targets We're Looking for Someone Who Has excellent attention to detail Has a good eye for color and consistency Enjoys hands-on, creative work Can follow formulas while also developing the judgment needed to make adjustments Is dependable and comfortable working independently Can accurately measure ingredients and keep track of batches Is comfortable working on their feet in a food-production environment Can repeatedly lift up to 25 lbs We're more interested in finding someone who is reliable, careful, and has the right eye and feel for the work. We will train you on our products and processes.
