Discription The overall responsibility of a Bakery / Espresso clerk is to ensure that customers receive high-quality baked goods, espresso and professional service when they visit a bakery or grocery store. Depending on the nature of your open position, your Bakery Clerk job description could include all or some of the following duties: Greeting customers and offering assistance Answering questions and recommending products to customers Weighing and counting baked goods selected by customers and then assigning a price Packaging purchased baked goods in boxes and bags Completing sales transactions Cleaning the bakery sales counter, display case, food prep and kitchen areas, making custom espresso drink.
