Famous Pizza:

Stevie's is known for offering some of the finest pizza in Seattle. We are committed to incorporating local and high quality ingredients with traditional sourdough techniques to produce the best pizza possible. We have an opening for a dough maker at our Burien location. This would be a great fit for someone with baking interest and experience that shares our passion for local flours and artisanal approach. This is not an entry level position. Our entire program is based on the quality of our dough, so we need someone with some baking skill and knowledge.

Job Responsibilities:

Accurately follow the dough recipe when mixing, weighing, and rolling. Use experience and insight to collaborate with the team to make recipe adjustments when needed. Keep the team informed of dough handling procedures (e.g. refrigeration needs) Monitor and test product to ensure optimal usability (get in there and stretch a pie!) Maintain a clean and organized workspace. Fill out shifts with prep work when needed. Develop skills to complete tasks with good tempo / speed Support other daily prep projects

Job Requirements:

Be familiar with general baking and pizza dough techniques (we will train the specifics). Possess a friendly attitude and good communication skills. Basic restaurant/kitchen etiquette. Must be a self-starter! This position starts early and you would be largely working solo for some of the day. Ability to communicate in English.

Compensation Competitive Compensation:

After training, (typically about 10 days) we guarantee at least $30 per hour including wages and tips. If wage + tips falls below that, we cover the difference. Comprehensive health/dental/vision benefits (with a 75/25 contribution rate after 60 days). Shift meals, 50% discount at both locations when not working. Schedule would be Sunday-Tuesday, 7am-3pm.
