The ideal candidate will have a strong background in baking and pastry arts, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality baked goods. As a Baker, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of baked items, ensuring that all products meet our standards of excellence while adhering to food safety regulations. Duties Prepare and bake a wide range of products including bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies. Ensure all food preparation areas are clean and organized, following strict food safety guidelines. This is a morning position 5am start time. End time is flexible Set up cafe for daytime production following standardized recipes Collaborate with the kitchen team to create new recipes and menu items. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers and addressing their needs. Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition, performing basic maintenance as needed. Qualifications Proven experience as a Baker or in a similar role within the culinary field. Strong knowledge of baking techniques and pastry arts. Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations. Excellent knife skills and proficiency in various cooking methods. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers.
