What we're looking for: Minimum 2 years of experience in specialty coffee industry Strong knowledge of espresso, coffee preparation, and milk steaming Experience working with a POS/cash register Excellent customer service skills — this is extremely important to us Clean, organized, and attentive to details Friendly, positive, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment A genuine interest in coffee and hospitality PeopleTalk is a neighborhood cafe with a strong community and many regular customers. We care about creating a warm, welcoming experience where guests feel recognized and want to come back. We have a fun, supportive team, a beautiful space, and a great customer base. We're looking for someone who understands that being a great barista is not only about making great coffee - it's also about hospitality, cleanliness, consistency, and being part of the team.
