$17-18/hour + tips (DOE) Position Overview As a Host / Barista, you'll be one of the first people our guests meet. Whether you're handing someone their afternoon espresso or welcoming them for dinner, you'll help set the tone for every visit. This role combines specialty coffee service with restaurant hosting and guest support. You'll prepare espresso drinks, greet guests with genuine hospitality, manage reservations and waitlists, answer questions, and help keep service flowing smoothly throughout the day. If you're organized, personable, and enjoy making people feel welcome, this could be the perfect fit. Responsibilities Prepare espresso drinks, coffee, tea, and other café beverages. Greet guests and create a warm, welcoming first impression. Manage reservations, waitlists, and guest seating. Answer phones and assist guests with questions about menus, events, and the distillery. Support the front-of-house team during busy service. Keep the coffee bar, host stand, and guest areas clean and organized. Restock supplies and assist with opening and closing duties. Help wherever needed to create an exceptional guest experience. Qualifications Excellent communication and customer service skills. Previous café, coffee, or restaurant experience required. Ability to multitask while maintaining a calm, friendly demeanor. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and reliability. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability preferred. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds.
