Job Description

Starting hourly rate is $16.90/hour This position serves in the Cafe at Water of Life Community Church. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Providing excellent customer service to each customer Preparing or serving hot or cold beverages, such as coffee, espresso drinks, blended coffees, or teas Re-stocking products throughout your shift Becoming efficient with the point of sale program Cleaning and sanitizing work areas, utensils, equipment, seating areas, etc. Checking temperatures of freezers, refrigerators, or heating equipment to ensure proper functioning Describing menu items to customers or suggesting products that might appeal to them This position is part-time, up to 10 hours per week. Sunday hours and Saturday evening hours are required. "As Needed"

40 Hours Paid Sick Leave per Year 403(b) Retirement Savings WOL Matching Experience in the coffee or food industry preferred but not required; have or have the ability to obtain Food Handler Certification. Candidate must be friendly, hospitable, reliable, trustworthy, self-motivated, competent and have good public relation skills; If a minor, you must have the ability to obtain a workers permit; Possess the ability to maintain confidentiality (refraining from gossip) and resolve issues according to Matthew 18; Maintain a consistent relationship with God and demonstrate a strong and growing walk with Christ and live a Biblical lifestyle that honors Christ; Have a personal commitment to the ideals, values and mission of WOL; Must aspire to be a Christian role model in accordance with 1 Timothy, chapter 3; Must be or become a Member at Water of Life Community Church and regularly attend its weekend services.
