OBJECTIVE

Provides the players with delightful experience from the initial reception until the final good-bye in accordance with the Casino's high standards of player service. Prepares beverages and food, provides prompt and friendly service, handles transactions, maintains a clean and organized store, and educates players on menu offerings. Responsibilities also include adhering to quality and presentation standards and contributing to a positive and welcoming store environment. Required to be knowledgeable of all InfoGenesis/ACSC POS transactions, Drinks' recipes, Proper taste and temperature of coffee and all food items served in the outlet.

TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS

Works in a casino environment which is smoke-free or a restaurant environment. Works in a very fast paced environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1.Always be Barona NICE to fellow staff and players; find every opportunity to offer a friendly smile, wave and greeting. 2.Reports to work on time, as scheduled, and in uniform; maintains a positive and cooperative attitude 3.Prepare food and beverages to standard recipes or customized for customers, including recipe changes such as temperature, quantity of ingredients or substituted ingredients 4.Follows department and casino policies and procedures. 5.Responsible for initial cordial reception to the players upon arrival and the prompt courteous and explains food items, such as specials or menu items 6.Participates as a team member with staff in producing a smoothly and efficiently run operation that meets the highest standards of service to our players. 7.Has knowledge of all food and beverage health codes, and makes safety first priority; ensures that all areas are kept clean and free of any potential hazards 8.Responsible for receiving payment, making change and presenting a receipt to players in a prompt and courteous manner in a fast-paced environment. 9.Responsible for adhering to established cash control policies and procedures of the Casino and Barona Gaming Commission. 10.Must be proficient in closing procedures for all Club Barona player comps, manager comps, points, room charge, group charge; Master folio charges and any and all tendering processes associated with the Casino and the F&B Operation 11.Completes all work duties in an efficient and proper manner on a daily basis. 12.Answers any players' questions and/or complaints and directs concerns to appropriate management 13.Knowledgeable of menu selection, all mixed drinks and coffee, promotions and pricing related to each meal period.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum 18 years old Knowledgeable of all Barona Coffee Company drink and food offerings Knowledge of health and sanitation standards Oral and written communication and computer skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, follow oral or written instructions, lift a minimum of 25 pounds, sit, stand or walk continuously for 8 hours or longer Must have basic computer skills and cash handling experience Must be flexible in scheduling and be available to work weekends, holiday and over time as needed.

REQUIRED EDUCATION

: Current Food Handler's Education Certificate

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

1 year or more experience as a Barista preferred 1 year or more customer service experience preferred
