Cafe Zoe & Neighborhood Pizza Guy has been pulling shots of espresso in the Willows neighborhood for over 16 years. Now's your chance to be part of a neighborhood institution with friendly coworkers, regular customers and an understanding management team. Cafe Zoe & Neighborhood Pizza Guy is a coffee shop & pizzeria specializing in espresso, lattes, artisan pizzas and quick lunch items.

Job responsibilities/duties:

• Assisting customers with navigating menu items, answering questions etc.
• Taking customer orders, payment, entering orders into ticket management system
• Preparing coffee, espresso, lattes, teas, etc to customers' requests
• Preparing ingredients for lunch items, sandwiches, breakfasts, etc.
• Preparing and serving sandwiches, salads, and other food orders
• Daily maintenance of equipment, space and inventory
• Cleaning at EOD and preparing for next day's shifts We are looking for candidates with barista experience and/or food preparation experience such as: Starbucks, Subway, etc.

Food service experience a plus but not required. Valid food handler's card & ABC license a plus, but can be obtained after onboarding. The right candidates will have a cheerful personality, can-do attitude, willingness to learn, adapt and increase workflow as necessary to meet rushes. We can train any skills necessary, but the right attitude must be in place in order to do so. This is a laid back environment, but orders can get hectic. Some physical aspects involved, including bending, mopping, lifting up to 50lbs. Management is flexible when required and is committed to providing a safe, fun, and healthy work environment.
