Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing and serving high-quality beverage and food items. Your expertise in food safety and customer service will ensure that every guest has an exceptional experience. This position requires strong time management skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, shakes, juices, and food items according to standard recipes. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the barista station, dining area, and kitchen. Adhere to food safety and handling guidelines to ensure the highest quality standards. Operate cash registers and POS systems accurately for processing transactions. Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations and answering any questions they may have. Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies as necessary. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Uphold exceptional customer service standards by engaging with patrons in a friendly manner. Requirements Previous experience in food service or as a Barista is preferred but not mandatory. Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and equipment is advantageous. Strong understanding of food safety practices and regulations. Basic math skills for handling cash register transactions accurately. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy periods. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
