Job Summary Join 55 Coffee Co. as a Barista located inside The Saap Avenue, where your energy and passion for coffee will create memorable experiences for every guest. In this dynamic role, you'll craft delicious beverages, deliver exceptional customer service, and ensure the café runs smoothly. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help foster a welcoming environment that keeps customers coming back. Whether you're preparing specialty drinks or managing retail transactions, your positive attitude will shine through in everything you do. Duties Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, ensuring quality and consistency. Operate Toast POS systems to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently. Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders, and answering questions about menu items. Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food handling, beverage preparation stations, and seating areas, adhering to food safety standards. Handle cash register operations, process cash transactions, and give correct change while maintaining accuracy in math calculations. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, ensuring all items meet quality standards and food safety regulations. Support team members during busy periods by managing drink service and ensuring timely delivery of orders. Skills Proven experience as a Barista or in food service with a strong understanding of beverage preparation techniques. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle inquiries professionally. Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures. Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and transaction processing. Experience with café operations, including serving beverages, cleaning workstations, and supporting food preparation tasks.
