Duties Prepare and serve a variety of specialty coffees and other beverages, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Operate POS systems (sky tap) to process sales transactions accurately and efficiently. Handle cash register operations, process cash transactions, and give correct change while maintaining accuracy. Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including cleaning equipment, counters, tables, and food handling surfaces to uphold food safety standards. Assist customers with menu selections, answer questions about ingredients or beverage options, and provide excellent customer service to enhance guest satisfaction. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and smooth workflow. Follow food safety guidelines during food preparation and beverage service to ensure health regulations are met. Skills Proven experience as a Barista or in food service with strong knowledge of beverage preparation techniques. Familiarity with POS systems sales transactions. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. Strong multitasking abilities to handle multiple orders efficiently while maintaining quality standards. Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately. Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for both staff and guests. Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods. Ability to work collaboratively within a team in a fast-paced café setting.
