ōntop is a new specialty café opening in Pomona, CA, serving thoughtfully crafted matcha, specialty coffee, and artisanal gelato. The name ōntop represents the little something on top - the finishing touch that makes an experience feel special. From the cream on top of a drink to the details in our presentation and service, we believe the little things can elevate the entire experience.

Our philosophy is simple:

simply elevated. We're looking for passionate and positive individuals to join our opening team and help bring ōntop to life. Duties Prepare and serve espresso, matcha, hojicha, specialty drinks, and gelato according to ōntop standards. Provide friendly and attentive customer service while taking orders and answering menu questions. Operate the POS system and accurately process payments. Prepare ingredients, restock, and maintain a clean and organized workspace. Follow food safety and sanitation standards. Assist with opening and closing duties. Work together as a team to provide smooth and efficient service. Qualifications We're looking for someone who: Has 1+ year of barista or cafe experience preferred. Has a genuine passion for coffee, matcha, hospitality, and customer service. Has a friendly, bubbly, and respectful attitude. Genuinely enjoys the work and creating a positive experience for customers. Is reliable, punctual, responsible, and eager to learn. Communicates well and treats customers and teammates with respect. Pays attention to quality, presentation, cleanliness, and small details. Can stay positive and efficient in a fast-paced environment. Is available for flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
