Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and motivated Barista Shift Leader to join our vibrant café team! Duties Oversee shift operations by coordinating team activities and ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and accurately Lead by example in preparing high-quality non-alcoholic beverages, coffee drinks, and food items following established recipes and safety standards Manage retail sales transactions using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems with precision and attention to detail Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders, answering questions about menu items, and resolving any concerns promptly Ensure cleanliness and food safety standards are maintained throughout the café by supervising cleaning routines and food handling procedures Process cash transactions accurately, including processing payments, giving correct change, and balancing cash drawers at shift end Support team training on beverage preparation, POS operation, food safety protocols, and customer service best practices Experience Previous barista experience with knowledge of drink preparation techniques and beverage service preferred Experience in food service or retail sales transactions demonstrating strong math skills and cash handling accuracy Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable Proven ability to lead a team during busy shifts with excellent time management skills Strong customer service background with the ability to communicate effectively and handle diverse guest needs Understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Join us as a Barista Shift Leader where your enthusiasm for coffee and dedication to excellent service will energize our team and delight our customers!
