Duties Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, following established recipes and quality standards Operate POS systems such as Toast POS to process sales accurately and efficiently Handle cash transactions, process payments, and give correct change with precision using cashiering techniques Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including cleaning equipment, counters, and seating areas to ensure a hygienic environment Provide friendly customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, answering questions about menu items, and serving beverages promptly Follow food safety protocols during food handling and beverage preparation to ensure compliance with health regulations Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve multiple customers quickly without compromising quality or service standards Experience Previous barista experience or food service background is required; training will be provided for the right candidate Familiarity with café operations, beverage preparation techniques, and food safety practices is advantageous Basic math skills for cash handling, processing transactions, and measuring ingredients accurately Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and engage positively with guests Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided Demonstrated time management skills to handle high-volume periods smoothly Join us as a Barista and be part of a lively team dedicated to delivering exceptional coffee experiences!
