Responsibilities Prepare a wide range of non-alcoholic beverages including coffee, tea, smoothies, and specialty drinks with precision and care. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions efficiently and accurately. Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders, answering questions about menu items, and ensuring their satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area, including counters, tables, equipment, and beverage stations. Handle cash transactions accurately, process payments, give correct change, and balance cash drawers at shift end. Follow food safety standards during food handling and beverage preparation to ensure quality and safety for all guests. Support team members with food preparation tasks when needed and assist in maintaining a welcoming café environment. Qualifications Prior experience as a barista or in food service is highly preferred; familiarity with café operations is a plus. Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing sales transactions efficiently. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests. Basic math skills for cash handling, giving accurate change, and balancing registers. Ability to stand for extended periods while maintaining energy and enthusiasm throughout shifts. Experience with beverage service, drink preparation, and food handling protocols ensuring food safety standards are met.
