Duties Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Operate Square POS systems efficiently to process sales, handle cash transactions, and manage retail sales accurately. Assist in food preparation and food safety practices, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in all food service areas. Serve customers with friendly, attentive service, taking orders and providing beverage and drink service that exceeds expectations. Maintain cleanliness of the coffee shop environment by cleaning workstations, equipment, and dining areas regularly. Support inventory management by restocking supplies, monitoring product freshness, and assisting with stock organization. Handle cash register operations with accuracy, including processing payments and giving correct change while adhering to cash handling procedures. Requirements Previous experience as a barista or in food service is preferred; familiarity with café operations is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests. Basic math skills for cash handling, processing transactions, and managing sales totals accurately. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
