We are looking to grow our team of service-oriented individuals! Position Overview We are looking for a Specialty Coffee Barista who is passionate about hospitality, quality, and connection. This is not just a coffee-making role—it's about creating memorable experiences through genuine customer interaction, attention to detail, and a love for the craft of coffee. If you're not a people person , this role isn't the right fit. We're looking for individuals who thrive on making others' days better and who take pride in every cup they serve. Responsibilities and Duties Foster a warm and welcoming environment for all guests and team members. Provide exceptional customer service by educating customers on menu items, greeting all customers with fast, friendly, personalized service. Proficient in Specialty Coffee techniques, including pulling shots, steaming milk and creating latte art. Prepare and serve coffee and tea beverages such as espresso, latte(s), etc. Maintain current knowledge of coffee varietals and brewing techniques and be able to describe coffee profiles and flavors. Operate equipment safely and properly, such as espresso machines, grinders, and pastry ovens. Keep the workspace clean and well-stocked. Stay productive during downtime, including performing daily and weekly deep cleaning tasks. Preparing and serving pastries such as muffins, scones, bagels, etc. To customers either for here or to-go. Serving alcoholic beverages responsibly and in accordance with Company, Federal, State, and local policies, procedures, regulations, and laws. Accurately handle cash and credit card payments at the Point Of Sale, followed by proper cash handling procedures. Responding proactively to all customer questions in a courteous and friendly matter. Maintaining inventories by replenishing coffee bean supply; stocking coffee brewing equipment and ingredients, maintaining supplies, pastries, food ingredients, etc. Maintaining safe and healthy work environment by following organization standards and sanitation regulations. Routinely cleaning the coffee bar area, lobby area, bathroom(s), taking out trash, cleaning cafe dishes, etc. Keeping all workstation(s), utensils, equipment, etc. clean and sanitary. Ensuring ingredients are tagged, date-labeled, covered, stored and rotated effectively Demonstrate strong communication skills to contribute to an effective and cohesive team workflow. Be dependable and reliable, arriving on time for all shifts and maintaining consistent availability. Requirements Prior specialty coffee experience preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Reliable, punctual, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to consistency.
