Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of non-alcoholic beverages such as coffee, tea, specialty drinks, and smoothies with precision and care. Operate POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales efficiently while ensuring accuracy in cash handling and transactions. Greet customers warmly, take their orders promptly, and provide friendly, attentive service to enhance their experience. Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including counters, equipment, and seating areas, adhering to food safety standards. Handle food preparation tasks such as assembling beverages, snack items, and light food offerings following proper food handling procedures. Manage retail sales transactions accurately while processing cash, credit card payments, and other forms of payment. Support inventory management by restocking supplies, checking product freshness, and assisting with stock organization. Skills Proven experience as a Barista or in food service roles with a strong understanding of beverage preparation techniques. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests. Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders during busy periods seamlessly. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Basic math skills for cash handling, making change accurately, and managing sales totals.
