Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and care. Operate POS systems such as Micros POS to process transactions accurately and efficiently. Manage cash handling responsibilities, including cashiering and basic math calculations for transactions. Maintain food safety standards by adhering to proper food handling, preparation, and sanitation procedures. Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, answering questions, and ensuring their needs are met promptly. Assist in food preparation and serving food items according to quality standards. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality or safety. Experience Prior experience as a Barista or in food service is highly preferred, demonstrating familiarity with café operations. Knowledge of coffee industry standards, including beverage preparation techniques and food handling practices. Experience using POS systems such as Micros POS for sales processing. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and build rapport with diverse guests. Basic math skills for retail math calculations, and managing transactions accurately. Understanding of food safety regulations and proper food preparation procedures in a retail or café environment. Proven ability to manage time efficiently during high-volume periods while maintaining attention to detail.
