Barista Cashier

Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and care. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders quickly and accurately. Handle cash transactions, give correct change, and manage cash handling procedures with integrity. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders efficiently, and addressing inquiries professionally. Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in food preparation areas and throughout the café environment. Assist in food handling and basic food preparation tasks to ensure quality standards are met. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and smooth operations. Requirements Previous barista experience or a strong passion for coffee culture is highly preferred. understand experience with POS systems Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests. Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and accurate transaction processing. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures. Ability to stand for extended periods, walk comfortably around the café, and lift moderate loads when necessary.
