Duties Prepare a variety of high-quality non-alcoholic beverages, including specialty coffees, teas, and lattes , ensuring consistency and presentation. Operate POS systems such as TOAST to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders, and addressing inquiries with enthusiasm. Maintain cleanliness of the café area by cleaning equipment, counters, and seating areas to uphold food safety standards. Handle cash transactions with precision, process payments, and give correct change while adhering to cash handling procedures. Assist in food preparation tasks related to café offerings, ensuring food safety and proper food handling practices are followed. Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining quality standards. Willingness to Cross train and ability to support back of the house team as well Experience Proven experience as a Barista Familiarity with coffee experience, beverage service, and drink preparation techniques. Knowledge of POS systems such as TOAST s highly desirable. Strong skills in retail sales transactions, cash handling, and cashiering procedures. Demonstrated ability to deliver excellent customer service with a friendly and positive attitude. Basic math skills for accurate cash processing and transaction management. Experience in food safety practices, food handling, and proper cleaning protocols within a café or food service environment.
