Responsibilities Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages with precision and care, ensuring quality and presentation meet company standards. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently. Handle cash register operations by processing cash transactions, giving correct change, and balancing cash drawers at shift end. Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders promptly, and addressing inquiries with enthusiasm. Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and dining areas by following food safety protocols and sanitation procedures. Assist in food handling and beverage preparation to ensure timely service during busy hours. Manage time effectively to serve multiple customers quickly while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Experience Previous experience in food service or café environments is highly desirable, especially with barista or beverage preparation roles. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS enhances efficiency in sales processing. Strong skills in retail math, cash handling, and basic math are essential for accurate transactions. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques ensures compliance with health regulations. Excellent customer service skills combined with effective time management contribute to a positive guest experience. Prior experience in the food industry or beverage service roles helps in understanding the fast-paced nature of this position.
