Duties Prepare and serve a variety of smoothies, beverages, and light food items with precision and care. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process sales accurately and efficiently. Greet customers warmly, take orders, answer questions about menu options, and recommend products to enhance their experience. Handle cash transactions, credit card payments, and cash handling with accuracy using proper cashiering procedures. Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in the café area, including food handling and food preparation tasks. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality. Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness. Experience Previous barista experience or background working in cafés or food service environments is highly preferred. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to facilitate smooth transactions. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests. Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling techniques. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate register operations. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume hours. Experience in the food industry or retail math is a plus to ensure smooth daily operations.
