Duties Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including smoothies, fruit bowls, and specialty drinks, adhering to quality standards and recipes Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales accurately and efficiently Engage with customers warmly, taking orders, answering questions about menu items, and offering personalized recommendations Maintain cleanliness of the smoothie bar area, including food handling surfaces, equipment, and utensils, following food safety guidelines Must be able to lift / move 40lbs Manage cash transactions with precision, processing payments and giving correct change while balancing registers at shift end Restock ingredients and supplies regularly to ensure the bar is fully equipped for busy periods Uphold food safety standards by following proper food handling procedures and maintaining a clean work environment Requirements Previous experience as a barista or in food service is highly preferred; café or smoothie shop experience is a plus Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests Basic math skills for cash handling and POS transactions Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as cleaning and ingredient restocking Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours Shifts available 7-5:30 and 9-5:30 Join us as a Smoothie Barista to bring energy, creativity, and excellent service to our lively team!
