Job Summary Bold Bean Coffee Roasters - Riverside is seeking a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Coffee Bar Service Worker to support daily coffee bar operations and provide a welcoming experience for guests. This role involves assisting customers, taking orders, preparing and serving coffee and other beverages, supporting food service, maintaining clean work areas, and working collaboratively with the café team. Responsibilities Welcome customers warmly and provide friendly, professional service. Take customer orders accurately and efficiently. Assist with preparing and serving coffee, tea, specialty beverages, and café menu items. Follow established procedures for beverage preparation, presentation, and service. Assist with preparing, packaging, and serving food items. Ensure customer orders are accurate, complete, and served promptly. Answer customer questions about beverages, food items, ingredients, and menu options. Operate the point-of-sale system and process customer payments accurately. Maintain clean and organized counters, coffee bar stations, tables, and service areas. Clear tables and help maintain a neat and welcoming customer environment. Restock coffee, beverages, food items, cups, lids, napkins, utensils, and other café supplies. Assist with opening, closing, cleaning, and general coffee bar duties. Follow food handling, sanitation, cleanliness, and workplace safety procedures. Communicate customer requests, supply needs, and service concerns to supervisors. Help maintain consistent beverage quality, presentation, and order accuracy. Support coworkers during busy service periods and help maintain efficient café operations. Handle coffee equipment, ingredients, and supplies carefully and safely. Perform other coffee bar service and customer support duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous coffee shop, café, restaurant, food service, or customer service experience is preferred but not required. Friendly, professional, and customer-focused attitude. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Comfortable working in a fast-paced coffee bar environment. Good attention to detail and order accuracy. Willingness to learn coffee preparation, beverage service, and café procedures. Ability to maintain cleanliness and follow food safety practices. Reliable, punctual, and responsible work habits.
