Sweet Girl's Bakery is a scratch bakery on Roosevelt Blvd, known for our quarter-pound cookies, brownies, cheesecakes, and custom decorated cakes. We're a small, close team, and we're looking for a friendly, dependable front counter associate who loves making customers feel welcome. What you'll do Greet every customer with a smile and help them choose from our cookies, brownies, cheesecake, cake slices, and gift boxes Ring up orders on our Clover register, including cashless payments Make espresso drinks: espresso shots, cappuccinos, and mochas (we'll train you) Box up cookie and brownie orders and hand off pre-ordered custom cakes and cookies Keep the pastry case full, neat, and inviting Keep the counter, dining area, and restrooms clean and stocked Help with opening or closing duties as scheduled What we're looking for Friendly, upbeat, and comfortable talking with customers Reliable and on time Comfortable with a register and handling a line during the lunch rush Able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for a full shift Customer service experience preferred. Bakery, cafe, or coffee experience is a plus but not required Food handler certification, or willingness to get one within 30 days Schedule Part-time, afternoon and evening shifts on weekdays, plus Saturdays We're open Tuesday through Friday from 11am to 8pm and Saturday from 12pm to 7pm Some weekend availability required Pay $15.00-$17.00 per hour, based on experience. You'll also share in our team tip pool, paid through payroll.
