The ideal candidate will prepare quality coffee and specialty beverages, assist with dessert and café service, welcome guests, maintain a clean workspace, and support smooth daily operations in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Welcome guests and provide friendly, professional service Prepare coffee, espresso, tea, specialty beverages, and other café drinks Follow established recipes and beverage preparation standards Operate espresso machines, grinders, brewers, and other café equipment safely Take food and beverage orders accurately Operate the POS system and process payments accurately Assist with preparing and serving desserts, pastries, and other café menu items Maintain consistent beverage quality, presentation, and portion standards Answer questions about beverages, desserts, ingredients, and menu options Maintain clean and organized counters, tables, service stations, and work areas Clean and sanitize coffee equipment, utensils, counters, and preparation areas Restock coffee beans, milk, syrups, cups, food items, packaging, and other supplies Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures Monitor supplies and communicate low-stock items to management Support team members during busy service periods Assist with opening, closing, and daily café cleaning duties Handle guest requests and concerns politely and professionally Perform other duties assigned by café management Requirements Previous barista, café, restaurant, dessert shop, or hospitality experience is preferred but not required Basic knowledge of coffee and beverage preparation Friendly, professional, and guest-focused attitude Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced café environment Good attention to cleanliness, accuracy, and detail Basic POS and cash-handling experience is a plus Ability to follow recipes and established procedures Reliable, punctual, and responsible work ethic Ability to stand for extended periods and perform routine café duties Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays Benefits Competitive hourly pay Tips where applicable Flexible scheduling options Employee discounts may be available On-the-job training Supportive and team-oriented work environment Opportunities for professional growth and advancement Additional benefits may be available based on eligibility About the Company Fluffy Fluffy Dessert Cafe is focused on creating a welcoming café experience through quality beverages, desserts, friendly hospitality, and attentive service.
