Job Summary Dasher & Crank / Matcha Café is seeking a friendly, dependable, and detail-oriented Matcha Café Barista to prepare high-quality matcha beverages, specialty drinks, and café offerings while providing welcoming service to every guest. The ideal candidate has an interest in matcha and specialty beverages, enjoys working with people, and can maintain quality and efficiency in a fast-paced café environment. Key Responsibilities Welcome guests and provide friendly, professional service Prepare matcha lattes, iced matcha drinks, teas, and specialty beverages according to café standards Properly whisk, measure, and prepare matcha for consistent flavor, texture, and presentation Prepare coffee and other beverages as required Follow established recipes, portion standards, and preparation procedures Take food and beverage orders accurately Operate the POS system and process cash, card, and other payments Answer guest questions about matcha, beverages, ingredients, and menu options Maintain consistent beverage quality and presentation Maintain clean and organized counters, tables, service stations, and work areas Clean and sanitize beverage equipment, utensils, counters, and preparation areas Restock matcha, tea, milk, syrups, cups, lids, food items, and other café supplies Monitor product quality and communicate inventory needs to management Assist with food and café item preparation as needed Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures Support team members during busy service periods Assist with opening, closing, and daily café cleaning duties Handle guest requests and concerns politely and professionally Perform other duties assigned by café management Requirements Previous barista, café, restaurant, or hospitality experience is preferred but not required Basic knowledge or strong interest in matcha and specialty beverages Ability to follow recipes and maintain consistent beverage quality Friendly, professional, and guest-focused attitude Strong communication and teamwork skills Good attention to detail, cleanliness, and presentation Basic POS and cash-handling experience is a plus Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced café environment Reliable, punctual, and responsible work ethic Ability to stand for extended periods and perform routine café duties Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays Benefits Competitive hourly pay Tips where applicable Flexible scheduling options Employee discounts may be available On-the-job beverage and matcha training Supportive and team-oriented work environment Opportunities for professional growth and advancement Additional benefits may be available based on eligibility About the Company Dasher & Crank / Matcha Café is focused on creating a welcoming café experience through quality beverages, matcha offerings, friendly hospitality, and attentive service.
