Responsibilities Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, following established recipes and quality standards Greet customers warmly, take their orders accurately, and serve beverages promptly with a friendly attitude Operate POS system to process sales efficiently and accurately Handle cash, credit card, and mobile payments securely while processing transactions swiftly Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including cleaning equipment, counters, tables, and food handling surfaces in compliance with food safety standards Manage retail sales transactions with attention to detail, ensuring correct change and accurate record keeping Assist in food preparation tasks when needed, supporting overall café operations and food safety protocols Requirements Proven experience as a barista or in food service environment with knowledge of beverage preparation techniques Prior cashiering experience with familiarity using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is preferred Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods Ability to stand for extended periods and perform cleaning duties regularly Previous café experience or work within the food industry is highly desirable This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced environment while delivering exceptional service.
