Job Summary Please read the entire ad first , We are looking for an energetic, fast paced, and detailed-oriented candidate to join our team! This position will work Saturdays and Sundays as well as supplemental weekday shifts as needed. The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and customer service, ensuring that every guest receives a delightful experience. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and providing exceptional service in a fast-paced environment. Hourly pay 14$ but can reach 17$ to 25$ per hour with tips most of the time. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and food items according to established recipes and standards. Maintain food safety and hygiene standards while handling food and beverages. Operate cash registers and Square POS systems efficiently, processing transactions accurately. Engage with customers to take orders, provide recommendations, and address any inquiries or concerns. Keep the workspace clean and organized, including regular cleaning of equipment and work areas. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of coffee beans, supplies, and food items. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Demonstrate excellent time management skills to fulfill orders promptly while maintaining quality. Experience Previous experience in food service or as a Barista is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and equipment is an advantage. Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations is essential. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately are required. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members. A positive attitude with a willingness to help others in a team-oriented environment is crucial.
