Responsibilities Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee and specialty drinks, ensuring quality and consistency. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales accurately and efficiently. Handle retail sales transactions with attention to detail, including cash handling and processing payments seamlessly. Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders promptly, and addressing inquiries professionally. Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food handling and food safety practices, to ensure a hygienic environment. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, supporting overall café operations and beverage service. Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers quickly while maintaining high standards of quality. Experience Previous experience in food service or café environments is preferred, especially with barista duties or beverage preparation. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests. Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and processing transactions accurately. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced retail or food industry setting. Experience in beverage service, drink preparation, or coffee industry roles will be considered an asset.
