Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Barista to join our team in a fast-paced café environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee and customer service, ensuring each guest enjoys an exceptional experience. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, maintaining a welcoming atmosphere, and upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and efficiency. Duties Greet and welcome customers with a friendly and positive attitude. Take orders accurately and provide recommendations on beverages, pastries, and menu items. Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, tea, and specialty drinks following standardized recipes. Monitor guest satisfaction by ensuring beverages meet expectations and addressing concerns promptly. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, including the counter, espresso machine, and seating area. Restock supplies such as coffee beans, syrups, cups, and lids as needed. Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the safety of all products. Process payments accurately using cash registers or point-of-sale systems. Assist in training new team members on beverage preparation, customer service, and operational procedures. Requirements Previous experience in a café or coffee shop is preferred but not required. Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Excellent customer service skills, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for all guests. Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and equipment is a plus. Ability to work well as part of a team while being self-motivated to complete tasks independently. Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift items up to 25 lbs. Availability to work morning, afternoon, night, and weekend shifts as needed.
