Job Description

Job Summary:
We are looking for a friendly, efficient, and experienced Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about coffee, knows how to froth milk properly for lattes, cappuccinos, and other drinks, and knows how to dial in espresso shots. If you know your coffee and enjoy providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to meet you. Weekend availability is required.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and other beverages to customer specifications Froth milk properly for lattes, cappuccinos, flat whites, and more Know how to dial in espresso shots based on grind, dose, yield, and taste Operate espresso machines, grinders, and other café equipment Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the coffee bar and seating areas Educate customers on coffee drinks and make recommendations Process payments using a POS system and handle transactions accurately Restock supplies such as coffee beans, milk, syrups, and cups Follow food safety and hygiene standards Support with opening, closing, and cleaning duties as needed
Requirements:
Experienced barista required - must know how to froth milk and dial in espresso Strong understanding of coffee, espresso, and common café beverages Excellent customer service and communication skills Ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment Must be available to work weekends and holidays Reliable, team-oriented, and detail-focused Basic math and cash-handling skills
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours) Ability to lift up to 25 lbs Frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive tasks

Part-time Pay:
$9.00 - $18.00 per hour People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply Application Question(s): Our busiest days are Friday through Sunday. Are you available to consistently work on those days? Are you available and willing to travel locally for pop-up events or off-site shifts if needed? Do you have experience steaming milk for different types of coffee drinks (e.g., lattes, cappuccinos, flat whites)? you available to consistently work on Friday, Saturday and Sunday? as well as afternoon until 3pm?
