Barista / Café Team Member - Sundays Café (Haiku, Maui) We're looking for a friendly, energetic Barista to join our growing team at Sundays Café, a specialty coffee trailer in Maui. What We're Looking For Barista experience preferred, but experience in a café, restaurant, hospitality, or bartending is also highly valued. Experience using a POS system is a plus. A naturally upbeat, outgoing personality who enjoys building genuine relationships with customers and our local community. Someone who is self-motivated and comfortable working independently while confidently managing their workspace and responsibilities. Strong attention to detail and the ability to stay organized. Someone who uses slower moments wisely by restocking, prepping, cleaning, and setting themselves up for success instead of waiting for the next rush. The ability to remain calm, efficient, and welcoming during busy periods while providing exceptional customer service with a smile. Dependable, trustworthy, and able to take ownership of daily responsibilities. About the Position Working from a food truck is a little different than working in a traditional café. There are unique daily responsibilities and operating procedures that are essential to keeping everything running smoothly. None of these tasks are physically demanding, but they do require someone who is organized, observant, proactive, and willing to take initiative.
