The ideal candidate will prepare quality coffee and specialty beverages, welcome guests, take orders, process payments, maintain a clean workspace, and support smooth daily café operations. This position is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys coffee, hospitality, and working with a team in a fast-paced café environment. Key Responsibilities Prepare espresso, brewed coffee, tea, specialty beverages, and other drinks according to café standards Welcome guests warmly and provide friendly, professional service Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently Operate the POS system and process cash, card, and other payments accurately Maintain consistent beverage quality, presentation, and portion standards Answer guests' questions about coffee, beverages, food, and menu options Operate espresso machines, grinders, brewers, and other café equipment safely Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming coffee bar and service area Clean and sanitize coffee equipment, utensils, counters, and workstations Restock coffee beans, milk, syrups, cups, lids, food items, and other supplies Assist with basic food preparation and product presentation as needed Monitor supplies and communicate low-stock items to management Support team members during busy service periods Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures Assist with opening, closing, and daily café cleaning duties Handle guest requests and concerns in a polite and professional manner Perform other café duties assigned by management Requirements Previous barista, café, restaurant, or hospitality experience is preferred but not required Basic knowledge of coffee and beverage preparation Friendly, professional, and guest-focused attitude Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced café environment Good attention to cleanliness, accuracy, and detail Basic POS and cash-handling experience is a plus Ability to follow recipes, instructions, and café procedures Reliable, punctual, and responsible work ethic Ability to stand for extended periods and perform routine café duties Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays Preferred Skills Barista or specialty coffee experience Espresso machine and grinder experience Knowledge of coffee beans, brewing methods, and beverage preparation POS and payment-handling experience Excellent guest service and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask during busy service periods Strong organization and time-management skills Positive attitude and willingness to learn Ability to maintain a clean and organized café environment Interest in coffee and hospitality Benefits Benefits may vary based on position, location, employment status, and eligibility.
