Duties Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Operate POS systems such as Square to process sales accurately and efficiently. Handle retail sales transactions with precision, including cash handling, processing payments, and giving correct change. Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders promptly, and addressing inquiries professionally. Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food handling stations, beverage prep zones, and dining spaces, adhering to food safety standards. Assist in food preparation tasks as needed, ensuring all food industry safety protocols are followed. Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers quickly while maintaining high-quality service standards. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or café environments is preferred; barista experience is highly desirable. Familiarity with POS systems such as Square is a plus. Strong skills in cash handling, cashiering, and retail sales transactions are essential. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and energetic attitude. Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately.
