Perform laboratory tasks such as sample collection, processing tests, and record keeping to support accurate diagnostics. Administer medications via IV insertion or other routes following veterinary protocols while ensuring proper documentation. Maintain cleanliness of the clinic environment by cleaning kennels, treatment areas, surgical instruments, and ensuring compliance with PPE use to promote safety. Support front desk operations by communicating effectively with clients regarding pet care instructions, appointment scheduling, and follow-up care. Assist with animal intake and discharge procedures while ensuring animal welfare during all interactions. Skills Proven kennel experience combined with veterinary technician or critical care experience to handle diverse clinical situations confidently. Strong animal handling skills including dog handling, animal restraint, catheterization, and understanding of animal behavior and physiology. Knowledge of veterinary terminology, aseptic techniques, medication administration, and surgical assistance to support clinical excellence. Experience with front desk responsibilities such as client communication, record keeping, and managing pet care instructions. Ability to perform laboratory tasks including sample collection and processing while maintaining accuracy in record keeping. Familiarity with equine care practices is a plus; excellent cleaning skills are essential for maintaining a hygienic environment.
