Position Summary The Barista is responsible for preparing high-quality coffee, espresso beverages, specialty drinks, and food items while delivering exceptional customer service. This role requires attention to detail, multitasking, reliability, and a positive attitude. This is a part-time position. Responsibilities Prepare coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and other menu items consistently and efficiently Greet customers and provide friendly, professional customer service Take customer orders and operate the POS system accurately Maintain cleanliness of café, dining area, and workstations Restock supplies and assist with opening and closing duties Work collaboratively with team members during busy periods Follow food safety and sanitation standards Help create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all guests Communicate customer or operational concerns to management as needed Qualifications Positive attitude and strong work ethic Dependable and punctual Ability to multitask Strong communication and customer service skills Comfortable working in a community-focused, mission-driven environment Café or food service experience is preferred but not required Compensation & Schedule Starting pay is $15/hr plus tips. Team members typically earn additional hourly income through tip sharing.
