Barista Position We're looking for an experienced barista to join our fast-paced, community-driven coffee shop. This role requires excellent multitasking skills, a strong work ethic, and a positive, team-oriented attitude. You'll move seamlessly between making drinks, taking orders, restocking, and keeping the space clean—all while providing warm, attentive service to our guests. Currently hiring for full/part-time positions. Barista experience is required , and Sunday availability is required. Key Responsibilities Warmly welcome customers and provide excellent service Understand customer preferences and suggest menu items Prepare and serve a variety of espresso and specialty drinks with care and consistency Operate the register, handle cash, and perform basic math calculations Keep the bar stocked and organized Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment Execute daily shift tasks and contribute to overall shop cleanliness Be flexible with scheduling; shifts range from 4-7.5 hours, 6am-7pm What We're Looking For Weekend availability A friendly, dependable team player with a passion for great coffee and great people Strong communication skills and ability to stay calm under pressure Comfort with multitasking and a proactive mindset Openness to learning new recipes and adjusting to menu updates Physically able to meet the demands of the job, including lifting up to 50 lbs Reliable transportation to Evanston, IL (or plans to relocate prior to starting)

Compensation & Benefits Pay:

Hourly base rate: $12

• 16 , based on experience Tips (cash + credit) are pooled weekly and shared based on hours worked — averaging $5
• 8/hour Estimated total hourly pay: $17
• 24/hour

Additional Benefits:
