Duties Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS. Prepare non-alcoholic beverages including coffee, tea, smoothies, and specialty drinks with precision and attention to quality standards. Process retail sales transactions efficiently while handling cash, credit cards, and mobile payments with accuracy. Maintain cleanliness of the café area by regularly cleaning counters, equipment, and dining spaces to ensure food safety and hygiene compliance. Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches, bagels, and other menu items following food safety guidelines. Manage beverage service by ensuring drinks are served promptly and at the correct temperature for customer satisfaction. Support team members during busy periods by multitasking between serving customers, restocking supplies, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. Skills Previous food service or café experience is highly preferred to ensure smooth operation from day one. Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS enhances efficiency in processing transactions. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and managing retail math calculations. Knowledge of food handling procedures to uphold safety standards in food preparation and service. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours without compromising quality or service speed.
