Maintains cleanliness, follows food safety standards, operates the POS system, manages inventory, and creates a welcoming experience for guests. Barista Job Duties Prepare and serve coffee drinks, espresso beverages, teas, and other beverages. Prepare and serve food items. Greet customers and provide friendly, prompt service. Explain menu items and answer customer questions. Take orders and process transactions through the POS system. Handle cash and provide correct change. Maintain supplies and inventory. Follow recipes and portion measurements. Keep the coffee bar, equipment, and dining areas clean and sanitized. Restock stations and assist with opening and closing duties. Follow food safety, health, and sanitation guidelines. Build positive relationships with guests and anticipate customer needs. Communicate effectively with team members and management. Perform other duties as assigned.
